Keep your rose plant in an area with plenty of light, such as a south or west facing window. Check the soil regularly, and water the rose when the top of the soil is dry to the touch. Add fertiliser every 2 - 4 weeks in spring and summer to keep your rose healthy, and rotate the plant for more even growth. Prune any dying flowers using secateurs or sharp scissors, to encourage the rose to rebloom and grow. In the winter, move the rose to a cooler room such as a well lit garage or porch, for around 6 weeks. Rose plants require a colder dormancy period to produce flowers again in the spring.
